My resolution for 2009 is thus: disassociate myself from toxic friendships. There are others of course, but I’ve slowly realized after years of feeling inadequate or used that one of the most important things I must accomplish is to no longer associate myself with others who routinely throw me in the trash and then resurface whenever they’re in need of someone to stroke their ego.

I just renewed my license on Friday.
At 17 years old, I crashed my mother’s car into a lightpole in residential Lombard. It toppled over into the street. The accident occured at 7:30 in the morning and it was during my driving exam. Needless to say I failed and had to go to court for “destruction of public property.”
