On hipster backlash:

Is it that we all realize we are on the cusp of an unimaginable - likely frightening but possibly enthralling - future and that the “young, hip, urban” devotion, unremembered nostalgia, and mass appropriation of previous youth cultures is only delaying our inevitable new society?
