“All I Can” by Sharon Van Etten

For me, this will be one of the most tremendous songs of the year. If I’m being honest, I slowed down my pace while walking home just so I could listen to the full five minutes. Earlier today, I tweeted Sharon Van Etten tears. I realized while listening to Tramp once again that I was crying, real tears, not necessarily out of sadness, but from the total catharsis of her music. Everything is so strong and smart and personal. She sings and it sounds like the manifestation of one’s thoughts, fears, and insecurities. Or at least that is the case for me as I listen to “All I Can” again and again.
