It is, absolutely inappropriate to tell a thin person “you could stand to gain a few pounds”.
You would never say that to someone in the reverse position. Unless I am dressed inappropriately (for, say, my job), please do not comment to me. Unless its a compliment. Those are always welcomed.
i think the most offensive to me is when my more well-endowed or curvy friends remark to me on how i have “no boobs” and a negligible behind.

like lovepuppy said, i would never say the reverse back to them. could you imagine me poking fun at their “sagging breasts” or “potentially-cellulite filled ass”? that is so offensive.

Boo freaking hoo. Sorry girls, you all seem wonderful, but I have no sympathy for skinny girls. Us curvier girls have had to deal with shit since we hit puberty and it sucks as fuck.
