Trying to be clever, I combined my name, Britt Julious, with the term “witticisms” to create a blog where avant-garde and independent music and culture take precedence over everything else. I make it a goal to champion the outsider and underdog. If you are interested in potentially being featured here or would like to contact me, you can e-mail me at bnjulious [at] gmail.com.
I am a music, arts, and culture writer and critic based in Chicago. I also work in Media Relations at the Museum of Contemporary Art and as a development associate at G.R. N’Namdi Gallery.//
PROJECTS:Good noise rock and pop can be found on I Love My Wife, a radio show I DJ with Tough Love for Brooklyn Radio.
The Leanover is a collection of essays that I’ve written on my life and my generation. It is updated weekly.
