Devon Sawa invokes intense memories of my childhood consumed with whatever the pre-adolescent equivalent of sexual fantasies must be. This scene in particular, ripe with co-dependent tendencies, was the sort of romantic ideal I held until Devon Sawa began deteriorating before our eyes, succumbing to the pitfalls of no longer being an “It” boy. With that said, I will forever love the moment when Casper turns Cat around on the dance floor and the camera finally pans to his human form. In the theater, all the girls gasped. Oh shit, who knew Casper would be so banging?
